EZ LIVIN – Livin On The Edge
(Interview with Hans Ziller)
1. Please let us know what do you remember from the start of EZ LIVIN’.
When I left Bonfire I really wanted to go on with making music. So I decided to give depression no chance and started to write song and searched for musicians to form EZ livin.
2. What was the main reason for leaving BONFIRE and starting EZ LIVIN’.
Well there where massive Problems with the Management and the contracts they have us. Finally I went to court and I won the fight.
3. Could you please describe us the new album of the band?
Well for me it has the typical ez livin sound and is a mixture of deep purple Uriah heep accept and bonfire. Handmade traditional hard rock.
4. How did you decide to join forces with David Reece?
I knew David when we both played at the firefest 2010 in England. So I called him and he was very excited about everything and said yes. He said he always loved the work I did with bonfire.
5. Are you in touch with any of the old members of the band?
Only with bam bam Juergen wiehler. He is with megaherz right now. I don’t have any contact to the rest.
6. What is the current status of BONFIRE?
Bonfire is and will be my main band. There is no doubt about it.
7. Do you any interesting experience to share with us regarding your tour with BONFIRE or EZ LIVIN’?
Touring is always a interesting experience and there happen always funny things. Once when we played with bonfire in France it was Paris bercy we get lost on the way to stage and landed in the cellar in the middle of nowhere while the intro was already running.
8. Do you support the streaming music bussiness model of Spotify,Napster,
Yes spotify.
9. Do you work on any other side projects except BONFIRE and EZ LIVIN’?
No believe me this is enough work but I like it.
10. Please remember the best and worst experiences from your involvement in the music industry.
Never trust a manager. The best was my gold award for fireworks
