Live Nation Entertainment Appoints Executive To Accelerate Growth In China
Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. announced that it has appointed Robb Spitzer as Managing Director of Live Nation China Concerts.
In this newly created role, Spitzer will work with Live Nation’s joint venture partner in China and other potential partners to bring more international acts to the Chinese market. He will also develop tours for domestic artists in collaboration with Live Nation’s Head of Regional Artists, Hung Tik.

“We continue to expand our worldwide network as global tours are rapidly including many new core markets. Building our presence in China is a key step in this expansion,” said Michael Rapino, Live Nation CEO and President.
Spitzer has lived and worked in China since joining Sony Music China in 2003. He later co-founded concert promoter China West and subsequently joined Ticketmaster China. For the last four years he has been Managing Director of Radical Media’s Chinese subsidiary.
“We are delighted to appoint Robb into this important role for the development of our business in China and the rest of the region,” said Alan Ridgeway, Live Nation President of International & Emerging Markets. “Robb’s experience will really enable us to accelerate our growth throughout the rapidly expanding Asian touring market.”
Spitzer said, “I see tremendous potential for the development of the touring business in China and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Live Nation to realize this potential.”
