Anthony Kiedis Gets Into Altercation With Bodyguard
A guard outside the Four Seasons in Philadelphia denied the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer entrance to the hotel, where the Rolling Stones were staying.
Rock icon Anthony Kiedis was involved in a brief shoving match with a bodyguard Friday outside the Four Seasons in Philladelphia, but TMZ reports it was likely just a misunderstanding.
In footage obtained by the site, The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ singer is shown walking up to the hotel, when he is stopped by a bodyguard. A short altercation between the two ensues, though by the end of the video both men shake hands.
Sources on the scene told TMZ the Rolling Stones were leaving the hotel at the time Kiedis was trying to enter, and the guard thought the singer was a fan of the band.
The Four Seasons told TMZ the guard did not work for them, and a source close to the Stones said the guard did not work for the band either. The Stones source speculated it was possible the man was hired to beef up the band’s security in Philadelphia.
