Former Dethcentrik Guitarist Found Dead In Home
Zachary “Helvete Vokte” Taube, one of the former guitarists for the Colorado industrial metal band Dethcentrik, was found dead in his home in Fountain, Colorado around 4:03AM local time. The cause of death is believed to be a drug overdose. Zach was an early contributor to the band, he co-composed Life Down The Toilet, the band’s second recording, and the first recording that wasn’t a demo. The song became a widely released single and was remixed and remastered as an alternate heavier version for Dethcentrik’s EP of early material, Dψd Beverte’s solo album, and a recording of the song being performed live at the band’s first show was included on the split with The Netherlands’ Bassookah Live 2010. His contribution with that song and his appearance in early promotional photos makes him and undeniable part of the band’s legacy.
