The Free Event Will Showcase Leading Software and Services companies for Music Publishers, Labels, Music Managers and Self-Published Artists
All Music Professionals Interested In Technology and Services Should Attend This Trade Show

The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) and The California Copyright Conference (CCC) will co-host the third annual MUSIC INDUSTRY TOOLBOX, featuring leading firms in music management software and services essential to the music industry as well as all major PROs including ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and SOCAN. The show has grown each year allowing music industry professionals to connect with industry leaders in technology and services in an informal atmosphere.

The event is presented free of charge as a service to all music industry professionals from major Networks, Record Labels, Publishing Companies, managers, lawyers, and self-published artists.

The Music Industry Toolbox will be held at The Sportsmen’s Lodge (12833 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City) on Wednesday March 27, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will give the music community-at-large an opportunity to meet with these providers in an intimate setting, including demonstrations and workshops. There will be a cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

Exhibitors will showcase their software and services in the main room as well as offer workshops in a private demonstration room. Exhibitors to date include: AdRev, ASCAP, BFMDigital, BMI, Cinedigm, Counterpoint Systems, MediaNet, Music Business Registry, proTunes, Royalty Share, SESAC, Simplified Systems Inc., SOCAN, Soundminer and SourceAudio.

The AIMP is thrilled to present The Music Industry Toolbox for a third year,” said Richard Feldman, past president of the AIMP, who started the event in 2010. “As we move further into the digital age, it is essential for music industry professionals to be aware of the innovative software and services available in the marketplace.” Adding to his comments, Michelle Belcher, board member of the AIMP who is coordinating the 2013 event said, “Our exhibitors are leaders in their respective fields, and provide a wide range of products and services to the industry. We hope that both members and non-members will take advantage of this informative, free event.”

ABOUT THE AIMP:
The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) was formed in 1977 by a group of Los Angeles music publishers and now has chapters in Los Angeles and New York, as well as a new chapter in Nashville. The organization’s primary focus is to educate and inform independent music publishers about the most current industry trends and practices by providing a forum for the discussion of the issues and problems confronting the music publishing industry. ABOUT THE CCC:
The California Copyright Conference (CCC) was established in 1953 for the discussion of copyright-related areas pertaining to music and entertainment. Today, the scope of the CCC has expanded to cover all matters pertaining to music industry issues. The organization has grown to over 300 members from all areas of the music and entertainment industry including publishers, songwriters, attorneys, representatives from trade publications, performing rights societies, motion pictures, television, multimedia, Internet, and record companies.
