Marilyn Manson needed 24 stitches to ‘reattach ear to head’ after being hit by a glass table in ‘dangerous fight’

Marilyn Manson needed 24 stitches to reattach his ear to his head, after a ‘dangerous fight’ in Switzerland.

The heavy metal rocker, who is currently on his Twins of Evil tour in Europe, tweeted a picture of his ear along with details of the altercation which happened earlier this week.

‘I was hit by a glass table in a dangerous fight,’ he tweeted. ‘I was however, the victor but had to have 24 stitches to keep my ear from becoming Van Goth.’

In another tweet, simply entitled ‘my ear,’ he posted a picture of his ear plastered with surgical tape.

Manson performed in the Swiss city of Basel on Tuesday on his joint Twins of Evil tour with Rob Zombie.

He will also be heading to gigs in Russia and Belarus before crossing the Atlantic to tour in the U.S. and Canada later this month.

Manson, real name Brian Warner, is currently dating American photographer Lindsay Usich and has previously been in relationships with Dita Von Teese and Evan Rachel Wood.

He recently admitted he would be interested in having children with Usich, who he has been dating since 2010.

‘My girlfriend Lindsay’s twin just had a baby and I’ve started to think that maybe I wouldn’t mind passing my demented genius on to some small thing who can set fire and breathe profanity,’ he told The Observer earlier this summer.

‘I am drawn to women who are independent and creative, which is problematic because it’s a struggle, a competition of careers,’ he added.

‘There’s jealousy. And if you don’t want to be known as Marilyn Manson’s girlfriend, why would you be it?’
