MOTT THE HOOPLE’S VERDEN ALLEN – SOFT GROUND
SOFT GROUND have been very busy and a new album is in the process of being recorded featuring new guitarist Jamie Thyer and ex Tigertailz drummer Matt Blakout. Verden’s usual four string player Rob Hankins will be on Bass. This will be the first album featuring the current line-up and it promises to be something pretty special, with Thyers raw style of playing and Blakouts powerhouse drumming, the band feel it will be something new for the fans to get their teeth into. No release date as yet, but the website will be updated when more is known.
VERDEN has also been involved with Honest John Plain and The Boys latest video as well as playing on their new album along with Casino Steel, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Martin Chambers (The Pretenders), Sami Yaffa (New York Dolls), Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks). Album and video are slated for release later this year.
