Jimmy At The Prom Releases Singles Produced By Chuck Garric Of Alice Cooper

Jimmy at the Prom, based out of Milwaukee, WI, is excited to announce the release of “Escape” and “Fist of Doom” as well as a partnership with Chuck Garric of Alice Cooper.

With having been around for less than two years, Jimmy at the Prom has garnered much attention from the music industry. Recently, they won the Rock Solid Pressure Radio Competitions and will appear on the Showcase stage in St. Petersburg, FL this September. The video for their single “Made of Wax” from their self-titled debut album was recently nominated for “Best Video” by 88.9 Radio Milwaukee (WYMS) listeners. Support Kick Ass Music featured Jimmy at the Prom as their Recommended Artist of the Week earlier this year and they’ve been featured in a wide variety of music publications including OnMilwaukee.com, AvClub.com, HeadAboveMusic.com, Extreme Guitars, Ardent Music Blog, Blind Carrot Magazine and more.

“With the release of “Escape” as the single and “Fist of Doom” as the b-side, we’re looking forward to the feedback we receive from our fans,” commented Sean Williamson, Jimmy at the Prom guitarist. “Having Chuck on our team has been incredible. His experience in the music industry has certainly helped cultivate and finalize these two tracks.”

Chuck Garric is no stranger to the music scene. He’s been touring non-stop with Alice Cooper as well as having contributed his song-writing skills to four Alice Cooper records including “Welcome 2 My Nightmare”, “Eyes of Alice Cooper”, “Dirty Diamonds”, and “Along Came a Spider”. In addition, Garric is heavily involved with a new project, Beasto Blanco, which will release the debut song and video this fall with two other singles shortly thereafter.

“Made of Wax” along with the release of these two singles is a perfect crossover for what’s being played right now on the alternative rock stations as well as pop/top 40 stations,” said Chuck Garric. “I’m excited to be working with the guys at Jimmy at the Prom and look forward to producing more singles as well as touring with them in the near future.”

In January of this year, Jimmy at the Prom brought their talents to Southern California where they played at The Doll Hut, Amplyfi and at The Down & Our Bar. Their travels also brought them to NAMM where they finalized endorsement agreements with Ashdown Amps, Trophy Guitar Straps and EMG Pickups.

About Jimmy at the Prom:
Jimmy at the Prom offers a mixture of prog, arene rock and metal which some say is a cross between Black Sabbath and Radiohead. Their freshman self-titled CD crafted sensible songs with twist of technical prowess from the haunting pulse of “Please Come Home” and driving force of “Fate” and “Made of Wax,” all the way to the delicate verse of “Skin Deep” and epic musical campaign of “The Letter”.
