Horror Band Records Song For Beetlejuice 2
Canadian Horror Rockers: Patron Saint Of Plagues, have released a song for the recently announced follow up to the Tim Burton classic – Beetlejuice. The song, entitled “Betelgeuse”, tells the story from the perspective of the bio-exorcist as he tries to convince a recently deceased couple to set him free. The song was pre-released on the bands website as a free download along with a music video made from clips of the original film. Front man Opi Saint had this to say, “I grew up loving Beetlejuice, it was released the same year I was born. When I heard they were making a second film I was inspired to record a song that was closer to the original story that Michael McDowell had written. One that was much darker.” The song can be downloaded from PSOP’s website or their Bandcamp page, and the video is available on YouTube.
