PiL to debut first material in 20 years at Record Store Day

Public Image Ltd are set to debut their first new material in 20 years on EP One Drop, which will be released for Record Store Day on April 21, 2012.
The 4-track EP is taken from forthcoming self-funded album, This Is PiL, which is slated for release on May 28.

The post-punk band formed by John Lydon (also known as Johnny Rotten) will release new material on their own label, PiL Official, via Cargo UK Distribution.

PiL were recently confirmed as special guests at BBC Radio 6 birthday celebrations in March and they will play live at Brighton Concorde on August 15 (sold out) and 16.

PiL previously achieved 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums after releasing their debut album, First Issue, in 1978.
