ABC: Classic Rock readership slips 12% YoY; Metal Hammer loses 6.5k

Future Publishing’s Classic Rock magazine lost 5,341 readers in 2011, according to the latest ABC figures – as sister mag Metal Hammer saw a 15.7% slide.

Classic Rock posted a readership of 67,695 in 2010, which dropped 7.9% in the 12 months of 2011 to 62,354. The title didn’t post a half-year figure.

Metal Hammer’s average ABC readership stood at 41,826 in 2010, which slid 15.7% in 2011 to 35,259.

Future also saw declines across it range of Musical Practical/Playing magazines, where Computer Music dropped from 15,771 readers in 2010 to 13,064 in 2011 – a 17.2% slide.
