QUEENSRŸCHE Drummer Spends Five Days With Oscar-Winning Film Composer

QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield was personally invited to visit Alan Menken and his team for an entire week during a recent recording session on a new film that Alan was hired to compose the orchestral music for. Alan has composed the music for such blockbusters as “Beauty And The Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Hercules”, “Tangled”, and many many more. He has won more Academy Awards than any living composer in history.

Scott spent the entire five days sitting directly beside Alan and his crew while listening and watching as his team of professional
orchestrators and engineers captured this most incredible sounding music score.

“I had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed his talents and personality,” Scott said. “He was most gracious and treated everyone with respect and
kindness and has a great sense of humor. I was honored for the
opportunity to get to know him and see how much he thoroughly enjoys his work.”
