California Rock Band Dive Bomber Releases New CD “Pinups In Parachutes’.
A high energy, take-no-prisoners band that throws down a serious heavy groove and an amazing live show – did you say the rock band Dive Bomber?
With a literal psychedelic-painted vocalist from head to toe named Nomad (it takes him eight hours to paint himself), he and the rest of Dive Bomber are a sight for sore eyes and an earful of awesome.
In 2010, the desire to form a band was so severe it had to be quenched. Nomad, Toad (drums), Catfish (guitar, backup vocals), and Pane (bass, backup vocals) met via a random email on Craigslist. After months of planning and cumulative cross-country flights, the strangers met for the first time and connected right away. As individuals, they were like puzzle pieces that as they came together, everything fit and it resulted in a great picture. With Nomad’s soulful vocals, Pane’s and Toad’s hard driving rhythms, and Catfish’s riffs, Dive Bomber found the right amount of electric and eccentric chemistry that a heavy rockin’ band just needs.
To date, Dive Bomber is making the California rock scene proud with their pure adrenaline rush brand of live performances. You come in droll and wanting, and during and after a Dive Bomber experience, you’ll get re-animated back to life. Check Dive Bomber and their fans/friends who dub themselves as ‘The Bombers’ as they hit up clubs and venues across Hollywood and the rest of Southern California. You may even spot Dive Bombers internationally too.
Currently, besides performing live gigs and touring cities, Dive Bomber has also released their 10-song CD titled ‘Pinups in Parachutes’. You may download the album at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves, a partner of Universal Music Group.
