Dallas Cowboys Use Anchored’s ‘Rowdy In Texas’ At Home Games

Texas based Anchored have partnered with the Dallas Cowboys for the use of the group’s track “Rowdy In Texas” for games played at Cowboys Stadium this season. Anchored is set to release their new album “Listen To This” through Trynd Music/EMI on January 24th, 2012.

“I’ve been a Dallas Cowboys fan forever so it’s obviously a mind blower that they picked up one of my songs to play at games,” commented singer Brandan Narrell. “I wrote it for the team while I was on tour, and when I got home was watching a game and heard it playing! It was an unforgettable moment. Go Cowboys!”

Texas has been known to breed some of the loudest and hard rocking’ bands on the planet and Anchored is definitely no exception. Blurring the lines between the melodic crunch of Shinedown and the big arena hooks of Stone Temple Pilots, these Dallas natives have crafted an electrifying brand of melodic, heavy-hitting hard rock. Anchored are road warriors, having spent the past 18 months building a fan base touring with modern rock heavyweights like Volbeat, Cold, Black Label Society, Saliva and All That Remains.

Anchored’s new single “Savior” is set to impact radio in the coming weeks and the group recently filmed a video for the track with director Devin DeHaven of Fortress Entertainment (Papa Roach, Method Man).
