Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), a division of the Universal Music Group (UMG), is presently seeking a Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Brand Development in the company’s Santa Monica, CA location.

UMe is the centralized catalog marketing division for the Universal Music Group, the world’s largest music company. UMe spearheads marketing, sales, licensing, and ancillary exploitation for the world’s largest music catalog, whose brands and assets include the world’s greatest recording artists. The SVP will lead a team focused on identifying strategic marketing partners and opportunities, developing new business partners, and expanding UMG’s brands, in both traditional and non-traditional arenas. The ideal candidate thinks strategically about opportunities, as well as challenges.

Jobs duties:
• Creative management of a team comprised of strategic marketing, branding, and business development executives
• Identifying and securing third party marketing partners for UMe initiatives and releases
• Working with all of the various departments, coordinating and implementing marketing efforts
