Pinkerton Thugs Signs To Jailhouse Records

1 min read

Old school Maine punks “Pinkerton Thugs” have landed a new home at Jailhouse Records.

The Pinkerton Thugs were one of many bands that helped define the New England punk scene and frequently rotating lineup in their early years, including members of Ducky Boys and Dropkick Murphys. Vocalist Paul Russo was also a founding member of the Boston band ‘The Unseen’ until parting ways amicably in 2003 to concentrate on his own projects.

Pinkerton Thugs plan to hit the studio in November to record their first new material since their 2000 Go Kart release “End Of An Era” and will be released in early 2012 on a split 7″ with an as of yet, undisclosed band.

Several of the bands older releases will be restored and remastered for re-release in 2012 leading up to a planned June release of their new full length. They hit the road in late Spring for an extensive U.S tour with labelmates The Scarred, and another undisclosed act.
