Circle7 Releases The First Version Of The Long Awaited Music Video For See Me Falling
Since the release of the band’s first single See Me Falling, a song written about front man Mark Thomas’ deceased best friend, Circle7 fans have been waiting for the promised music video of the song.
The band made a surprise announcement last week, with an even bigger surprise as they released the video without warning.
Circle7 lead singer Mark Thomas stated “This is basically just a rough cut. This is definitely not the final version of the video.” He said “We just wanted to give the fans something they’ve been patiently waiting for, something to show them what we’ve been up to.”
The band decided that they would share the link with only a few fans before taking it public, allowing those lucky fans a “sneak peek” at the music video before anyone else had a chance to see it.
When the band finally made the video public, it grabbed the attention of Circle7 fans all over the world, for it’s subject matter.
Thomas wrote the song in rememberence of his best friend David Long, who was tragically murdered in 2007.
The video opens with singer Mark Thomas and former Circle7 founder Mike Carr, approaching the real grave of Long. Eerily the video proceeds to bring Thomas’ friend back to life in the video, which was even convincing enough to bring Long’s mother Barb Tomsick, who was on the set of the video shoot, to tears.
Many Circle7 fans had the same tear jerking reaction to this version of the video, and have stated that they can’t wait for the full version, which the band states “will have more of the story of Dave’s death told, and be more detailed in that aspect.”
The video ends with a sobering memorial to the fallen friend, which fans of the band stated “was very tasteful, but still very sad”
