Trent Reznor to Score ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ Movie

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has been tapped to compose the music for “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” the upcoming film adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s best-selling book, following the success of his Golden Globe-nominated score for “The Social Network.”

Reznor will reunite with longtime songwriting partner Atticus Ross for the film, which is being helmed by “Social Network” director David Fincher. During an interview with the New York Times’ TimeTalks series, Reznor revealed that the “Dragon Tattoo” score would rely more on string arrangements than the electronic-leaning music of “Social Network.”
