Lou Gramm’s brother files suit against the former Foreigner lead singer

1 min read

The brother of Lou Gramm is suing the former Foreigner lead singer after the two had a falling out over money.

Richard Grammatico filed suit in May claiming he was Gramm’s business manager. According to the lawsuit, filed in state supreme court, Grammatico says he didn’t get paid for booking concerts for Gramm.

Grammatico also says he’s owed more than $56,000 from Gramm (who’s real name is also Grammatico) after loaning him the money to purchase a home in Webster.

The rift came after Gramm fired his brother apparently claiming his brother stole from him.

Richard Grammatico denies the accusation in the lawsuit and is also suing Gramm for defamation and slander.

The family grew up in Gates. Gramm spent nearly 30 years as the front man for the rock band Foreigner. He suffered a brain tumor in 1997 which led to many health complications.

He now tours part time with the Lou Gramm Band.
