BLOWBACK REKINDLES ’70s PSYCH

1 min read

With a sound described as “big Witchcraft meets little Dozer,” Swedish heavy rock group issues their new offering “Eight Hundred Miles” to the international scene. Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath mixed with Kyus and Orange Goblin, the band brings a modern edge to classic styled psychedelic rock.

Blowback formed in 2004,  by members who all had played in different bands and constellations before

Seb (Guitar) and Stefan (vocals) have actually played together for about 10-13 years in different bands, and about 8 yrs ago Chris (bass) started playing with them. Then in 2004 Henke was added as a new drummer

About “Eight Hundred Miles” (the new album), Blowback has this to say:
“We have evolved as musicians, and learned how to make things sound more as we want it.. we have always done everything ourselves, so the learning process have helped us evolve. We have always liked groove and power, we have always loved rock… We think we have always tried to make music we would listen to ourselves.”
