PROPHET & THE COWBOYS OF APOCALYPSE Receives 2010 Phoenix Music Awards ‘Record Of The Year’ Award For Maiden Album Release “The Edge”


PROPHET & THE COWBOYS OF APOCALYPSE have reported that their maiden solo album, ‘THE EDGE’ has received the 2010 Phoenix Music Awards ‘Record of the Year’ award. Produced by Prophet (Vox/Lyrics/P&TCOA) and co-produced and engineered by Larry Elyea at Mind’s Eye Digital Studio in Tempe, Arizona. The awards ceremony will be held November 18, 2010 at the Paramount Theater located on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, California.

For the past 17 years, Prophet has been known as the front man for well-known Arizona (USA) thrash metal band ST. MADNESS (also a 2010 Phoenix Music Awards nominee in the ‘Rock Band of the Year’ category), and has co-produced seven ST. MADNESS studio albums, producing five of them at Mind’s Eye. Larry Elyea, one of Arizona’s most sought after producer and engineer; has earned numerous awards (including 2008 Phoenix Music Awards ‘Engineer of the Year’) during his studio’s 18 year history. He has worked with artists Corey Taylor/Slipknot/Stone Sour, Sevendust, Five Finger Death Punch, Jimmy Eat World, Disturbed, Eminem, TECH N9NE, OTEP, Bionic Jive, Kottonmouth Kings, and a long list of others.

ST. MADNESS has booked two shows to coincide with the Nov 18th LAMA awards ceremony in Hollywood: Friday, Nov 19th at the WHISKY A GO GO and Saturday, Nov 20th at THE RAINBOW BAR & GRILL
