Jimmy Hotz – Beyond The Crystal Sea (30th Anniversary Edition) / Born Twice Records

A 1979 re-issue of a prog rock masterpiece, it’s a space rock album with many influences from Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis, etc. The artwork and lyrics of the album are influenced by the culture of Christian rock but without insisting on extreme religious issues, it’s just the whole atmosphere that creates this concept. The music of the album is a journey from ethereal, space keyboards to expressive guitars and a singer that is trying succesfully to make the audience follow him in this music journey.
