Live Report From Outloud / Cyanide 4 / Wild Machine

The concert had a very interesting line up: 3 bands that are into heavy rock genre and have been fan’s pleasure..Also there was the first appearance of Outloud in Athens after the release of their album through Frontiers Records.

Cyanide 4 is a band that has many influences from the Swedish Glam scene and also from late 70s USA punk bands. Their sound wasn’t helping them cause they hadn’t rehearse before the concert, But everybody that knows the band from other live shows, sure knows what to expect: heavy metal music with punk attitude . I suppose they’re doin’ well in this area.

Wild Machine has been a brand name in the Greek glam scene, especially due to the unique voice of their singer that sounds very similar to the sleaze  singers of bands such as Britny Fox, Tigertailz, etc. They played really good but the sound was low and it wasn’t their fault..

Outloud appeared in an almost full club with many fans that came to see this unique band.. All the guys were in great shape regardless of their exhaustion from the end of the tour. So we had a taste of the whole album and a 2 interesting covers of Jailbreak (Thin Lizz) and Broken Heart (White Lion) . They were very happy upon the stage and wanted to satisfy the audience even playing their hit “We Run “ twice, Sure we expect more things from this super group…

* At last but not least, how professional could be the sound engineer when he’s insulting the support bands from the roof so loud  that the audience could hear him ( “Get Off The Stage “ as he said.. ) but  was also responsible for the low quality of the sound that night ? It seems that some people do not deserve to be in technical positions…
