Interview with Tommy Victor
1) Hi guys, I thought that your last album was the goodbye for the fans but now a new live album is coming out. So please give me all the details about the new release…
Well, its a compilation of the best performances from our last tour. People should hear these versions. We are very proud of the way they came out!
2) When and where did you record this album?
During our last tour which was in summer of 2008. A lot of the redordings were in Eastern Europe. Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic
3) Did you do any extra work at the studio for this album ?
NO!!! Its all live! No overdubs , all from the concerts!
4) Do you have any plans to add aby bonus tracks for this album?
I haven’t heard of any bonus tracks. Usuallly the record company tries to do things like that later. But I haven’t heard of this.
5) Is there any video material from the era of this album that you’re going to release it as a DVD?
Yes. there will be aDVD release .And from what I’ve heard,it really good.
6) Are you going to tour for this release?
No but Prong is. AAron Rossi and myself are in Prong and we are touring for the Prong record this summer.
7) What’s your opinion for the new president of USA ?
He’s a crook. I hate all politicians.
8) Is there any hope for an additional studio album too? Maybe as a present to another politician ?
Yeah maybe when Al realizes that Barack is just another fraud, maybe he’ll wake up!
9) Ministry nominated for a grammy about the cover of “Under My Thumb” but again someone else grabbed it instead of you. How do you feel about that ?
Personally, I’m glad Miistry didnt win. Because I personally wasn’t nominated because I didn’t play on that track.
10) Did you have any latest issues with cencorship and do you think that the end of the Bush era is going to have an impact at your sales?
Theres no cenorship> No one gives a damn.
11) Do you consider Ministry as political or musical act and why ?
Its a revolutionary project. Politically and musically. It’s an anarchistic project. I feel as though the outside world is meaningless. It’s all crap.
12) Are there any other bands out there that could continue the tradition of Ministry in musical and political level?
Yeah Prong of course
13) Except Ministry, you are a member of Prong. Let me know about the latest news of the band, there’s also plan for a remix album?
The new remix of “Power Of theDamager” is coming out in May. We are touring Europe in late MAy through july.
14) How easy is for you to devote your time between Prong and Ministry?
Add Danzig and you have the plan/. I’m a busy musician and I’m still broke. It’s a challenge. But I can handle it.
15) Give a damn good reason why your fans should buy your album instead of coping it or downloading it in illegal way, What you have to say in order to persuade Ministry fans about this fact.
