1.Τell me some details of the band.
Ok, we are 5 guys from Sweden , our first album “Hoverface”was recordered in 1995,actually in 1994 and came out in 1995. In this album we played thrash,death progressive metal because we like to mix some styles. Next album ” Uni versus Universe” we did in 1998 and after that the singer left the band and we have a new album “Katharsis” a new singer and a new label.
2. Why “Uni versus Universe” released only in Sweden?
Because we are in a small distubutor company,Black Mark, and they released the cd in Sweden and Norway. This was a big problem to us because many fans ,who had heard the first album, want to hear the second.
3.Tell me the differences between “katharsis” and “Uni versus Universe”.
“Katharsis” is more heavier than our previous works and maybe it is a little more progressive. Of course has better production,better sound. But mainly the style remains “Pathos Style”
4. Do you know that your band name is a Greek word?
Yes we know that.
5. So why you choose a Greek word for the band?
Because, this word is used in many different languages and mainly because we used this word for many types of emotion,like pain death happy etc.
6. Every member of the band has his own project.Do you believe that you give everything in all projects who you take part?
We are all from different bands but when we work for PATHOS we give 100%. Also PATHOS is in the first place of all of us.
7. The reason,who you wait four years for a new album is because you try to find a new singer?
Yes. New singer new songs
8. Have you any plans to promote this album?
We really like to get in tour but nothing is planned yet.
9. Have you ever come here to play a gig?
No we haven’t, but we would like. We have heard the best for the Greek fans
10. You are from Sweden, right?
Yes
11.Tell me your opinion about the metal scene in Sweden
I think is very good. We have also many friend in big Swedish band like IN FLAMES
12. Why you choose a so strange cd cover?
The cover it displays the title “Katharsis” what the word “Katharsis” mean.Also has a connection with the lyrics
13.”Katharsis” is a concept album?
No, I think every song is a different song and it has his own story to tell.
14. What you play in the band?
I am the lead guitarist.
15. Do you have some influences as a guitar player?
Yes, I was influenced by Blackmore and of course I like Kiss. Also early Judas Priest albums and many differents guitar players like Spanish guitarists
16. Any other favorite bands?
In Flames,Morbid Angel,Napalm death,Fates warning,Halford,Pink Floyd,Jethro Tull, but everything from Death metal to progressive rock.
17. So you describe your music like,death black doom progressive…..
Yes but I don’t know why people said that our music sound like Doom

19. Have you heard the new In Flames album?
Yes and I like it
20.Your opinion?
The have many clean vocals they have change their style a little and it is softer that the previous works.
21. have you know any Greek Band?
I have some Friends here who they are from Greece. I know Firewind and Dream Evil
