Veteran Rock Band Releases New Single & Video

The new single “Don’t Forget the Fallen”, released earlier this month by veteran LA Rock Band Asphalt Messiah is now complete with music video. The music video pays tribute not only to all military personnel worldwide, but to the ones who stayed behind, taking jobs to support their families.” I thought that was an important part of the tribute when making the video” stated Kacy Jones, Founder and Lead Guitarist. When service personnel leave for duty they leave behind their families, mothers, brothers, wives, husbands and so on. We wanted to make sure to include their sacrifices as well.”

“As history reflects, and for those who remember those times, many of the ones left behind had to take jobs they were unprepared for working long hours at difficult jobs just to keep food on the table. Being from a military family and seeing that from life experiences myself made me a part of who I am today; and I for one am forever grateful for the sacrifices of all our military personnel and their families. They are the reason we can sleep at night, enjoy the liberties and rights we enjoy as Americans”, stated Jones. “Don’t Forget the Fallen radio interview with Kacy Jones on WBLP Rock Radio, Dallas, TX http://www.rocknrollica.com/AsphaltMessiah “Don’t Forget the Fallen” music video FALLEN MUSIC VIDEO.wmv

In other Asphalt Messiah news: “Transform Me” by Asphalt Messiah was nominated for “Best Rock Song” by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and was heavily considered for inclusion in the Transformer movie trilogy for TranformersII with re-submission for Transformer III. Asphalt Messiah was the only Independent band at the table with such well known acts as “Nickleback”, “Green Day”, “Linkin Park”, “Cheap Trick” and others vying to have their song included in the movies. They have opened for Hip Hop legend Warren G, at Busby’s in LA, headlined at the IRON CIRCUS, Rocked the Marines “Toys For Tots”, played to a sold out crowd at the Whiskey A-Go-Go on the Sunset Strip where they opened for the Platinum recording group P.O.D. Most recently Asphalt Messiah has played live on Direct TV and Dish Network and are involved in other television projects.
