New Wave Icons B-Movie Premiere New Video For “Another False Dawn”

UK electronic act, B-Movie, best known for their 1982 international smash hit single “Nowhere Girl,” premiere a brand new video for the lead off track from their newest album Climate Of Fear on the preeminent Post-Punk website www.Post-Punk.com. Directed by George Barber, the video focuses exclusively on the band’s performance of the dark yet danceable track, understandably so too since this is the very first video in the band’s 30+ year career to feature all 4 original members. Shot through blurred lenses and a moody fog, these seasoned rockers still exude all the energy and gravitas of their ‘80s incarnation. Steve Hovington, the group’s vocalist, still cuts a dramatic figure in center frame against a lighting design that is melancholic without being morose and editing that is frenetic without being distracting.

Climate Of Fear was released March 18 through Cleopatra Records. As a special bonus, both the CD and the vinyl formats include a recently recorded version of “Nowhere Girl” along with remixes by German industrial legends Die Krupps and Leæther Strip as well as Los Angeles-based indie electro band Deathday!
