New album by The Satisfactors, including Kenny Aaronson from Dust

After only a few months since the album was released on their label; fans, Radio DJs and industry professionals were able to point out their favs. The success of the first single “Johnny Commando” (a tribute to Johnny Ramone); which delivers awesome vocals, with inflections and nuance that reminds you of Joey Ramone with guitar driving and dynamite riff and solo was hard to outscore, arrived in DE NED TOP 10 Charts only after a few weeks.
Today Bongo Boy Records announces the third single.
“Sweet Sunshine”. Kurt Reil shared this : “ I had a hand in writing this song with Gar and Bruce. The chorus is a bit more pop than some other Satisfactors songs, but it definitely kicks the song into overdrive. I do my high ‘Curtis Roy’ vocals I developed especially for this album- great fun!”
Also later this week the self titled album by The Satisfactors is being submitted to The Recording Academy for consideration for the 58th Grammys.

Earlier this year “Take Your Troubles Away” became the second single; which tumbles into a complex rabbit hole of Byrds-inspired guitar hooks, mega chugging bar chords and pulsing bass and drum work. Ferguson pulls off a tricky genre, embracing his theme and releasing just enough confessional ambiance on his path to agreeable believability. The bridge features some crafty modulation that downshifts the band into a wide curve before launching the Francis jet-fueled fretwork into the straightaway John Pfeiffer wrote in the Aquarian Weekly.

The Satisfactors are four musicians from four rock n’ roll bands who came together to make this awesome album. Bruce Ferguson of The Easy Outs, Gar Francis of The Doughboys, Kurt Reil of The Grip Weeds and Kenny Aaronson of The New York Dolls/Joan Jett/ Bob Dylan/ Billy Idol. Recording finished in the summer of 2014 at the studio of the House of Vibes in Highland Park, NJ. The album includes 12 tracks co written by Gar Francis (also known as co writer and co producer of Mark Lindsay’s latest rock album) and Bruce Ferguson. The ultimate Rock N Roll album that you would think that was made back in the glory days of Rock n’ Roll. Each track captures the feel and mood of those good old days. This is a masterpiece that must be heard.

The Satisfactors continue to hold their spot with their first single “Johnny Commando” in DE NED TOP 40 chart in The Netherlands. The band is receiving continuous radio spins on FM and Satellite radio. Great support continues for all Bongo Boy Records releases, from all DJs and especially from Bill Kelly’s Teenage Wasteland WFMU. The modern days of Internet Radio Stations like the team at 365 Radio Network , HARD ROCK by Jay Conroy and many of you are also very supportive of Bongo Boy Records and their artists on their growing roster.
