New music video from Led Zeppelin for the song “Rock and Roll”
Led Zeppelin have released a new video for their hit song Rock and Roll. The song featured in the video is an alternate take on the version that appeared on their 1971 album, Led Zeppelin IV.
In an official statement, Jimmy Page, who remastered the song for its release, said: “Rock and Roll has just got that cheeky energy…. It’s a party. ‘It’s been a long time since I rock and rolled.’ It says it all really. It’s great lyrics and it’s a great performance.”
The song comes from Led Zeppelin IV (Deluxe Edition) – Led Zeppelin’s remastered forth album will include additional companion audio with unreleased studio outtakes To be released on multiple CD, vinyl, and digital formats as well as a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box.
