LEGENDS OF ROCK N ROLL TEAM UP FOR SPECIAL CHARITY SHOW IN FORT MYERS
Talk about an all-star lineup! Living legends of rock n roll Jeffrey Skunk Baxter (Doobie Bothers/Steely Dan), Barry Gordreau (formerly of Boston), Fran Sheehan (formerly of Boston), Leroy LRS Romans (The Wailers/3rd World), Robert Mousey Thompson (James Brown), and Danny Beissel (Fosterchild) have banded together to form the American Vinyl All Star Band to perform for national charities across the country.
And on March 1, these music icons are scheduled to be joined by special guests Hugh Mc Donald (Bon Jovi), Cliff Williams (AC/DC), Charlie Colin (Train), Rick Derringer (Steely Dan/Egdar Winter), and Chaz Trippy (The Gregg Allman Band) for a performance outside of the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) in Fort Myers.
Opening bands for the show include The Steve Tucci Band (www.tucciband.com), The Sean Chambers Band (www.seanchambers.com) and The Matt Facciolla Band (www.matthewfacciolla.com).
This exciting show will be the third year that the American Vinyl All Star Band will be performing at the art center, with proceeds benefitting two charities: The Able Academy (www.theableacademy.org) and SBDAC. The Able Academy is a non-profit organization committed to the study of human behavior and development and its effective application to persons with identified needs.
The Sidney and Berne David Art Centers mission is to nurture innovation and excellence in the visual and performing arts through exhibitions, performances, preservation, education and outreach in Southwest Florida.
