DANKO JONES Releases Podcast Featuring Guns N’ Roses Members

Listen to yet another intriguing podcast episode from DANKO JONES’ world of music, madness and interesting characters. In episode #57 of the podcast Danko corralled both Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses) during the Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour this past summer to chat about ZZ-Top, Billy Idol, Rihanna, them joining Guns N’ Roses, the concept of wearing capes and bowling with W.A.S.P guitarist Chris Holmes. The episode is available for streaming and free download here: http://www.dankojones.com/episode-57-dizzy-reed-richard-fortus/. Other recent podcast episodes feature guests like Pete Stahl (Scream, Wool, Goatsnake) and Jørgen Munkeby, singer/saxophonist/guitarist of the brilliant band, Shining.

On October 22nd, a re-release of Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue was made exclusively available on Spotify (http://open.spotify.com/album/3GU0bsPoRg3vmAzRNmSzuR) including two previously unreleased tracks; “Crazy In Bed” and “Whatever Happens”. The latter is also featured on a limited (500 copies) three track 7-inch that was just released together with Skullcandy. As the two additional tracks you can hear the band’s latest single “Legs” along with the track “Dance” recently heard in the film Kick-Ass 2.

The latest DANKO JONES single “Legs” has quickly become a live favorite and is played frequently on radio in the US. A video was recorded in late October with Canadian director Bruce LaBruce and art director Kenny Baird and is set for release in November. LaBruce is known for his sexual, artistic and culturally challenging productions and we are convinced that the result will be spectacular.

The band just started their fall tour through the Nordics with no less than 18 shows total. In addition to the tour they will also do three gigs in Ontario, Canada towards the end of November.
