THE ARISTOCRATS: Brand New ‘Culture Clash’ Full Album Teaser Available Today via MusicRadar.com

Featuring Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Asia/GPS), Bryan Beller (Dethklok, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani) and Marco Minnemann (Necrophagist, Kreator, Adrian Belew, UKZ, Steven Wilson)

The wait is over! Starting now, fans can take a quick listen to a previously-unreleased Culture Clash album teaser, brought to you exclusively by MusicRadar.com. Culture Clash is the highly-anticipated, aggressively-eclectic upcoming full-length album by the heralded fusion trio THE ARISTOCRATS, set to hit stores on July 16th. Take a listen to the album teaser today, only at MusicRadar.com, at this link.

“It’s been nearly two years since our first album, came out,” says bassist Bryan Beller. “A lot has happened since then. We’ve toured like crazy, we’ve made a lot of new friends, and we’ve grown closer as a band. I think it’s all there in the new material on Culture Clash, and we’re excited to share it with the world.”

After listening to the album teaser and becoming completely smitten with it, you will be pleased to learn that Culture Clash is available for pre-order beginning today! To order your copy of the regular edition or deluxe edition (with bonus DVD “Accept The Mystery: The Making Of The Aristocrats’ Culture Clash” and t-shirt featuring exclusive new artwork based on the album’s animated characters), visit http://thearistocrats.spinshop.com. Heads up— THE ARISTOCRATS can also unveil that they will release a limited-edition double-album vinyl edition (only 1,000 copies being pressed) of Culture Clash, set to be released in late September. The vinyl release will be available exclusively through Hostile City Distribution (www.hcdistro.com) and the Aristocrats webstore for pre-order in late August.

As mentioned above, Culture Clash can be purchased alone, or as part of a deluxe package that contains a bonus DVD called, “Accept The Mystery: The Making Of The Aristocrats’ Culture Clash”. This is a 33-minute DVD documentary shot while THE ARISTOCRATS were tracking the album in Nashville, TN. Containing both studio footage and exclusive interviews with each member of the band, “Accept The Mystery: The Making Of The Aristocrats’ Culture Clash” is a special behind-the-scenes look at THE ARISTOCRATS that fans have never seen before. You can check out a video teaser of the DVD at GuitarWorld.com.

Culture Clash honors THE ARISTOCRATS’ panoramic potpourri of influences, while showing up as a more aggressive, intensely-written album that picks up where the band’s first effort left off – all while retaining a quirky Zappa-influenced refusal to take themselves too seriously. That’s evidenced by the album’s title alone, which derives its name from a sly reference to the Coen Brothers’ film A Serious Man, and doubles as an allusion to the band’s multi-national makeup (Govan is British; Beller is American; Minnemann is German).

Culture Clash proves to be a more adventurous piece of work for the trio, with everything from techno-fusion (“Dance Of The Aristocrats”), to nitro-powered rockabilly (the Ren-and-Stimpy-influenced “Louisville Stomp”), to Mr. Bungle-infused metal (“Living The Dream”), to the rhythmically serpentine rock/fusion-esque title track. The band feels that being joined at the hip for the past two years helped them become a stronger unit, which set them on a more unconventional course.
