Dare Rocks – Wild Paradox

‘Wild Paradox’ opens with heavy rock sounds and surprisingly effective production, despite the use of AI-generated music. The vocals are characterised by a Metallica-inspired style, particularly recalling their work from the 2000s, while the orchestration also features traces of 1990s progressive metal. This combination gives the track a modern heavy rock identity, while still having one foot in the more technical side of metal. The song has a good flow, with the guitar carrying much of its impact and giving the arrangement a strong presence. The vocals bring an angry attitude, but are not pushed too far or sung with overly much force, helping the different elements to remain balanced. This gives the track an aggressive character without overpowering the listener. At around the 2:45 mark, an interesting guitar solo adds another dimension to the song, giving the guitarist an opportunity to reveal a more technical side. Overall, ‘Wild Paradox’ is a strong heavy rock track that brings together modern metal production with influences from the 1990s progressive scene and the heavier side of Metallica’s later sound. There is enough guitar work, atmosphere and rhythmic movement to keep listeners engaged from beginning to end.
