“Rise” kicks off with an intense, cinematic intro that builds a sense of tension, it feels like it belongs in a Hollywood blockbuster. Behind the heaviness, the dual-guitar work delivers incredibly tight riffs, showcasing some seriously impressive musicianship. The vocals carry a distinct grunge edge, the singer’s performance sometimes reminds of a classic Soundgarden vibe, leading the track with far more attitude than your standard metalcore release. Pacing-wise, the song is a dynamic roller coaster; it changes between crushing, fast sections and slower, contrasting grooves that keep the arrangement engaging rather than locking into a single gear. The chorus is a massive, anthemic hook tailor-made for a live crowd, backed by a huge, polished mastering. As the track approaches the 2:53 mark, the guitar solo introduces a level of technical complexity that you wouldn’t typically expect from a metalcore-leaning track, adding a cool new layer to the song. It’s the best kind of track you want to see live, the raw energy of the riffs, the anthemic chorus, and the driving rhythm section would easily impress any audience. Fantastic work from Tubefreeks!
