Love Ghost x Ardis- “Underwater”

Slow, atmospheric guitars with a simple timbre open the song, creating a laid-back vibe, while vocals slowly fill the audio spectrum with their warm and nature. Spanish female vocals eventually emerge, bringing a diverse dimension to the track and acting as an intriguing meeting point for people from various musical and cultural backgrounds. As the song develops, the orchestration becomes more groovy, with dance and hip-hop beats appearing in the background, giving the composition a more upbeat and modern vibe. The song works especially well as a duet because of the difference between the two voice styles. Love Ghost gives the performance a more raw, more direct character, whereas Ardis adds a more innocent, gentle touch. This distinction gives the vocals a unique vibe, particularly when they interact inside the arrangement. The playful guitar tones may virtually be seen as Ardis’ side of the collaboration, while the deeper beats and heavier rhythmic structure appear to reflect Love Ghost’s musical identity, resulting in an excellent contrast between light and heaviness. The vocal production also shows an unusual pop influence, with vocals strategically placed within the mix to keep a strong melodic presence while the music builds an urban feel below. The use of atmospheric guitars, deep beats, dance elements, and Spanish-language vocals gives “Underwater” a contemporary multicultural atmosphere. Despite the various influences present, the music remains strong and familiar, resulting in a pleasing contrast between dreamy harmonies, urban rhythms, and uplifting pop aesthetics.
