Jon Bon Jovi called Justin Bieber an as**ole!

Justin Bieber may have slammed his critics last night at the Billboard Music Awards for focussing too much on his off-stage antics and not enough on “the music, the craft that I’m making,” but he probably wasn’t referring to Jon Bon Jovi.

The 1980s rock star has called the 19-year-old singer an “asshole” for arriving on stage two hours late for a concert at London’s 02 Arena as part of his “Believe” world tour.

The 51-year-old rock singer claimed the teenage star risks alienating fans if he continues to disappoint. Speaking to the Evening Standard, Bon Jovi said: “Every generation had guys that do that, none of that is new.

“They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.

“Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool- you’re an asshole. Go to f***in’ work!”

Bieber’s ‘Believe’ world tour has attracted much attention after the Canadian pop star was attacked by a fan onstage in Dubai and was forced to give up his pet monkey in Germany after arriving without the correct legal documentation.

The singer’s tour bus was also the subject of a police raid in which officials allegedly found drugs and a stud gun on board.

After receiving his new milestone award at the Billboard Music Awards last night, Bieber hit back at critics by saying: “I’m 19-years-old and I think I’m doing a pretty good job, and basically from the heart I really just want to say it should really just be about the music, about the craft, about the craft that I’m making.

“This is not a gimmick, and I’m an artist, and I should be taken seriously. And all this other bull should not be spoken of.”
