deTournai – Tonight Tonight
According to the band, “Tonight Tonight” recounts the personal journey of a lover who has left in search of adventure. The music was written by Vasilios and recorded at Eastside Sound in Manhattan’s Lower East Side with engineer Duff Harris. It features the core pair deTournai, jazz bassist Laurent David, and Scott Dailey (of Tiki Slam) on drums. The song begins with a piano-driven melody contrasted against a nostalgic, almost Pink Floyd-like atmosphere.
