Rivetskull – The Hammer Falls
Rivetskull’s “The Hammer Falls” begins with a strong, loud mastering that initially produces a rock-ready audio quality, powerful and punchy without falling to excessively loudness. The production seems intentional, giving the song enough dynamic room for expansion. A hard rock direction develops as the song evolves, enhanced by synth elements that add a progressive touch. There are parts that recall the anthemic heaviness of Shinedown and the progressive spirit of Dream Theater, even if almost all of the song is completely in the category of contemporary hard rock.
