World Without Humans – Eclipse

Eclipse” begins with an assault of Power Metal synths, reflecting Stratovarius’ powerful, melodic rage. As the song develops, it shows an intriguing mix of metal and elegance, driven by strong female vocals comparable to Nightwish’s symphonic majesty. The chorus, in particular, has a cinematic feel that raises the whole song. The vocal style has an unique pop awareness, which adds melodic simplicity to the usually heavy and Scandinavian-metal-inspired rhythm. This contrast works efficiently, mixing force and elegance in a way that is defined in classic European metal heritage. Nonetheless, the audio mix may be improved. While the core ideas are strong and the songwriting is excellent a cleaner mix would allow the complex layers, particularly the synths and vocals, to stand out more clearly. With a little polish, the track’s psychological and audio richness might be maximized. “Eclipse” is a promising track by World Without Humans, featuring an equal amount of power, melody, and theatrical vibe.
