Simón’s Cave is a beautiful track that combines moving storytelling with carefully designed sound. At its core, the song digs into the psychological complexities of saving someone from darkness only to be abandoned yourself, a concept represented with gentle tension in both the lyrics and arrangement. The tune begins with a lonely piano sound, creating a melancholy atmosphere. The mastering immediately stands out: the sound is broad, loud enough and balanced, allowing each instrument to function properly in the mix. Ethereal vocals emerge shortly after, providing a pop aesthetic covered in sincere, nearly painful passion.
