Tunchelli – Persona (feat. Dagon)

“Persona” by Tunchelli, featuring Dagon, is a six-and-a-half-minute trip through emotions and personal progress, according to the artist. The music begins with a strong bassline and percussion that provide an alternative rock mood reminding of the 1990s. While the rhythmic foundation is strong, the drum sound may be refined more to help it sit better in the mix and improve overall production quality. The electric guitar that soon appears is deeply rooted in 1990s alternative rock, producing grungy chords that recall the soul of artists from that era. The vocals, which are significantly processed with effects, lend to the track’s raw style. However, the mix and mastering may be improved, especially in terms of clarity. Fine-tuning the vocal effects and overall mix might help to bring the music into balance and emphasize its creative ideas. Musically, “Persona” expresses the aggressive nature of bands like System of a Down, with dramatic changes between slower, tension-building sections and faster ones. The balance of these incompatible tempos makes the song interesting and preserves the concept of internal dispute and evolution. The track’s mix of enthusiasm and alternative rock memories gives it an attractive edge, but improving the sound would let it reach its full potential as a strong anthem of personal evolution.
