Rock musician produces Music Conference in Germany

A music business conference solely made for musicians, that’s what Germany has been lacking of for so long. Now rock musician Julian Angel (Beautiful Beast) is about to change that and created MusicBiz Madness, what he calls ‘the punk among music conferences’. In a number of music business related seminars and an adjoining trade show musicians of all styles and levels can soak up knowledge delivered by seasoned professionals including Axxis vocalist Bernhard Weiss, Bruno Kramm of dark/electro project Das Ich and Goar Biesenkamp, producer of Lou Bega’s million seller ‘Mambo No. 5’.

MusicBiz Madness covers topics such as successfully presenting yourself to record companies, setting up your own promotion and distribution channels, optimizing royalty payments, tour organisation, DIY marketing, jingle production, crowdfunding and a blueprint about breaking the charts without a record company.

“‘MusicBiz Madness’ will set itself apart from other conferences simply because it targets musicians for the first time” says Julian Angel who – being a musician himself – knows about the needs of struggling musicians first hand and strives to address those needs with a day full of worthwhile and crucial music business information.

MusicBiz Madness will take place in Nuremberg, Germany on April 21st 2013. More information can be found at www.musicbizmadness.de
