Peter Dolving Signs With Deadlight Entertainment For New Record ‘Thieves And Liars’
Peter Dolving (Ex-The Haunted/Mary Beats Jane) has inked a deal with French label Deadlight Entertainment (Undercover Slut/New Rising Son) for his solo album ‘Thieves and Liars’ in early 2013.
Somewhat removed from Dolving’s previous work with Gothenberg thrashers The Haunted, ‘Thieves And Liars’ instead sits closer to New Order, The Cure & My Bloody Valentine. Layering dense guitar work, with Pete’s eclectic yet instantly recognizable voice and left field lyrics, it makes for a curious and inventive listen.
Recorded in 2011/2012, mixed by SÓLSTAFIR producer Fredrik Reinedahl and mastered by legendary producer/engineer Tue Madsen (Hatesphere/Sick of It All), the record has already received glowing reviews from International press and has gained fans in the form of Devin Townsend and Sean Beaven.
