Recent A&R staff changes
As always, there’s lots of movement and activity by Music Industry personnel so let’s get right to it! Jeff Castelaz and Mott Solodky are relaunching Cast Management, Jenni Sperandeo has been promoted to President of Dangerbird Records and Dangerbird Publishing. Interscope Records Co-Founder Ted Field exits Radar Pictures to become CEO of Trauma 2 Records. Mei Yeh has been promoted to Managing Director, Universal Music Taiwan, Mollie Moore exits Atlantic Records and joins the A&R staff at Capitol Records (LA). Jamie Nelson joins Polydor Records (UK) and Mike Gitter joins the A&R staff at Razor & Tie. Entertainment Attorneys Wofford Denius and Kristen Clark join LA-based Gladstone, Michel, Weisberg, Willner & Sloane while Music Attorney Brian Schall joins Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin. Miller Williams joins Kobalt Music Group as Senior VP, Creative and Imagem Music Group opens a European branch in London. Real World leaves the world of major distribution and signs with indie distributor Entertainment One. Jason Carter has been appointed Head of Popular Music & Live Events for BBC (UK), Amy Finnerty has been named SVP, Talent at Maker Studios and Jeffrey Azoff (son of Irving) leaves Front Line Management to join CAA as a Music Agent.
