JONATHAN POSTAL – All the Boys on St. Mark’s Place (Liberation Hall, CD/DL LIB-5087)
Raised in New York City, Jonathan Postal relocated to San Francisco during the late 1970s punk and new wave explosion. While earning his degree in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, he spent his nights fronting the local band the Readymades. The group’s two 7-inch singles were eventually compiled alongside a wealth of live material on Liberation Hall’s 2021 release, More Live Than Not: San Francisco 1978.
Now, a new compilation of Postal’s studio recordings, All the Boys on St. Marks Place, adds three unreleased Readymades recordings to the band’s discography. Also included are songs later recorded by Postal in NYC with the Odds and the Gift. The 18-track set is completed by three solo tracks. Postal currently resides in Memphis and performs with his band Rattlesnake Whip. He is also the creator and designer of Postal Guitars.

The Lost Masters: 1963-1973 features 14 acoustic and electric tracks from guitarist Clarence White, the late country-rock pioneer who was the second longest-serving member of the Byrds.
