Ultrasonic Zebras – Surfacing

Since 2017, the group has performed for crowds in pubs, clubs, outdoor concerts, and charity events. The Zebras write their songs and dazzle their listeners with multi-instrumental aspects. They have been involved in music since they were young and have a constant drive for musical development. Ultrasonic Zebras’ “Surfacing” EP takes listeners on a captivating journey through the realms of indie rock, showcasing the band’s immense talent and sonic versatility. With their unique blend of infectious melodies, introspective lyrics, and raw energy, Ultrasonic Zebras prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the indie music scene. The band’s tight musicianship and the lead vocalist’s emotive delivery make for an exhilarating introduction. The songs effortlessly blend catchy hooks with moments of atmospheric exploration, creating a dynamic listening experience. The atmospheric instrumentation beautifully complements the introspective nature of the lyrics, creating an immersive and introspective atmosphere. “Some Kind of Sympathy” is my favourite track of the EP! The band explores a more laid-back and dreamy sound here, with shimmering guitars and melodic basslines. The song captures the feeling of breaking free from the constraints of everyday life and embracing the unknown. Ultrasonic Zebras demonstrate their ability to experiment and push boundaries on the EP which features intricate layers of instrumentation and a captivating vocal performance that adds a touch of vulnerability. The band’s willingness to explore different sonic territories makes for an exciting conclusion to the EP.
