Wax – Skate Park (Track Review)
This track is a classic example of cinematic Jazz music that you might hear while watching a movie or TV show set in New York’s streets: mysterious and groovy music with a lot of 1970s atmosphere in the music production, which attracts you instantly with its complex but revealing orchestration. Funk and Fusion musical elements create an upbeat vibe and unleash the composition and performance skills of Wax. The saxophone paints the “musical picture” with vivid and romantic colors, while the bass and guitar offer the appropriate energy to keep the listener focused on the artistic vision of Wax. The audio mix and mastering sound very clear to me, which will be very helpful for listeners who want to understand the role of each instrument in this musical puzzle. I am looking forward to hearing more from this band!
