Vlad in Tears – Running Up That Hill (Track review)

The recent Post-TV success of the track “Running Up That Hill” boosted its commercial value and potential among all the ages of the audience. Vlad in Tears is another band that is covering the song, but their performance is super professional: clear audio production, passionate performance, and there are some personal musical elements that the band features (such as guitar and piano parts) which make this song an outstanding one! The musical influences of the band come from the Nu Metal scene of the 2000s, the Post Grunge era, and probably from bands such as Linkin Park and Thirty Seconds to Mars. The power of the sound is balanced; there are no extreme Metal outbreaks or distorted vocals, everything is in place, and the orchestration meets the needs of both mainstream listeners and rockers who want to have a good time. I would recommend this song for music supervisors that are looking for “safe zone” rock tracks to place in adventure movies!
