The Hybris – Keep The Wolves Away (Track Review)
A cool “guitar riff opener” places the song exactly where it should be: in the heart of the attention field of the listener. The vocalist delivers a personal anti-war message to the New Model Army’s post-punk audience, as well as metal music fans (an alternative rock version of the Primordial band?). The lyrics of the song speak to the dangers that war poses to the entire globe as well as the impacts it has on its victims in general and one of the most significant political crises of recent memory in particular. I have no additional comments for this song; it is a cool, guitar-driven piece for cinematic anti-war scenes.
