Sony announces new president of global digital business and US sales

Dennis Kooker has been announced as Sony Music Entertainment’s new president of global digital business and US sales.
Moving from the position of executive vice president of operations/general manager of global digital business and US sales, in his new capacity Kooker will now oversee all aspects of the global digital business and US sales group and report to SNE Chairman and CEO Doug Morris.

In a statement, Morris said of the appointment: “Dennis has long been a key contributor to our successful Global Digital Business and US Sales operations, and we are excited to have him leading our efforts to further grow and diversify our physical and digital businesses.”

Commenting on his new role, Kooker said: “I’d like to thank Doug for the opportunity to take on this new challenge. I look forward to working closely with our labels, as well as our business units around the world and the many great executives within our team, to maximise the business opportunities for Sony Music and our world class artists.”
